Abstract Biochar has been used to reuse the agro-industrial wastes and improve soil quality. Several studies have carried out show impact of biochar on physical chemical attributes. However, there are still gaps regarding effects as microbial biomass enzymatic activities that important determine sensitive indicators evaluate changes in management practices. The objective this study was assess effect two biochars chemical, carbon, an Entisol cultivated with bean. We types coffee biochar: ground husks, four doses (4, 8, 12, 16 Mg ha-1) control. All treatments received organic fertilization cow manure.
